2019 is going out with BANG!
First of all, please join us in thanking Aviante Collins (Minnesota Vikings OT #76) for choosing to promote Dr. Leonard's Cancer Research Fund with the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats program. We were honored to be represented at the Sunday December 8th, 2019 Minnesota Vikings game at US Bank Stadium. Check out these cleats with Dr. Leonard’s Cancer Research Fund name and logo on them! Aviante has generously donated the cleats for our fundraiser coming up on April 23rd, 2020.
But most importantly, THE CANCER RESEARCH LAB IS AT AN AMAZING (and critical) POINT!
Lead scientists Lance Augustin and Janet Schottel led a very informative and fantastic lab tour to a group of Dr. Leonard’s Cancer Research Fund supporters a few weeks ago, and our minds were blown. I’m trying not to use too many exclamation points, but we are so excited!!!!
The research has rounded the corner to the end, curative stage. The scientists in the lab just had a breakthrough and solved a problem that will positively impact the ability to go to the FDA with the optimal combination and dosage of the immuno-therapeutic genes, translating the system into clinical therapy. Dr. Leonard, Lance, Janet and everyone involved are working very hard to make this happen as carefully and quickly as possible and we appreciate your support and patience to see this through.
