Fundraiser Success, Garden Therapy and Amazon Smiles

We had a fantastic day at Doc's Cancer Shootout. Thank you everyone for your support that helped to raise $134,000 for cancer research. With the challenge gift from Hubbard Broadcasting Foundation, a total of $259,000!!!

While Dr. Leonard continues to attend weekly lab meetings at the University of Minnesota, and I continue the fundraising endeavors in the office, spring finds us spending time together in Dr. Leonard’s garden, tending the flower and vegetables.  It’s good for the soul, and we do some of our best problem solving and creative thinking while digging in the dirt.
